Social Programme and Reception

1. Hiroshima University Campus Tour

Date: Tue, 26 September 2017

Place: Higashihiroshima Campus

Meeting point: In front of the Faculty Club entrance

Fee: Free of charge

Campus Tour
The Campus Guide is a walking tour designed to introduce the Hiroshima University campus and the valuable resources in its possession in order to deepen interest in and understanding of the university. We will visit the museum, library, and the rooftop to have the view of the whole campus which is one of the largest campus in Japan.


2. Welcome Reception

Place: La Place at Higashihiroshima Campus

Fee: Included in the conference fee
(3000jpy for accompnying person)

The organising team welcome all the participants to the Welcome reception to give opportunity to get to meet participants and networking.

3. Workshop Dinner

Date: Wed, 27 September 2017

Time: 18h30 - 20h30

Place: La Boheme, Higashihiroshima Campus

Fee: 4000jpy

The organising team is organising an optional workshop dinner on the second evening of the workshop. This will offer an opportunity for networking and also share ideas and deepen discussions.

4. Saijo Sake brewery guided tour

Date: Thu, 28 September 2017

Time: 14h00 - 15h00

Place: Saijo

Meeting point: In front of the Saijo train station
(There will be a bus 13h20 and 13h34 from Yamanakaike bus stop)

Fee: Free of charge

Saijo Sake brewery tour
Saijyo, the town where the campus is located is famous for great sake production. The tour will give you an opportunity to discover several breweries with a guide to get to know their history and taste some of their product. There are limited place for the tour. If you are interested in participating, please sign up at the reception.
